I think most people would agree with us regarding a simple life, but in this modern life of technology and communication which can befuddle our minds there seems no way out of the present climate of complexities.

One must learn to separate themselves from conforming to external influences to join the masses who are in a confused state.

Liberate yourself and you will taste simplicity!

Yes, keep your room as well as your mind clutter free, but in our cases Fatima, it’s very hard to keep a room empty when you have kids – “Toys toys everywhere, which hurt my feet wherever I step and bound!”

Thanks, my friend! I had a look at your blog and we do share same way of thinking in regards productivity and self-improvement. We all need to learn to look at things in more simple terms, which would give us less stress and more creativity.

Maybe it’s in our nature to complicate our lives, but as I grow older and move ever closer to the grave, I’m starting to learn to shed all my pretensions in regard knowledge and material possessions.

Anyway, I don’t think they make coffins as big as a 3 bedroom house in this day and age – So I will be forced to leave everything here.

Great article, Jason. Simplicity has been and is my life’s passion. “Diogenes threw away his cup when he saw a child drink from the fountain with her hands.” I’ve always loved that quote, it means so much to me.
