Wisdom Books: The Analects of Confucius

May 31st, 2011 No comments

The Analects express a philosophy, or a moral code, by which Confucius, one of the most humane thinkers of all time, believed everyone should live. Upholding the ideals of wisdom, self-knowledge, courage and love of one’s fellow man, he argued that the pursuit of virtue should be every individual’s supreme goal. And, while following the Way, or the truth, might not result in immediate or material gain, Confucius showed that it could nevertheless bring its own powerful and lasting spiritual rewards.

Are We Insane Enough To Destroy Nature Along With Humanity Itself?

May 25th, 2011 No comments

An unfortunate observation that we all should be aware of: not only do we wish to dominate and exploit other human beings, we also participate in the apparent madness of raping and pillaging the earth of its natural resources whilst, inexplicably, diminishing its life sustaining powers.

With Man’s celebrated Champion called “Technology”, as it continues its determined mission towards conquering “Nature”, I cannot help notice that despite the huge advances and worship of this ubiquitous creation, we are inadvertently disconnecting from each other and destroying the very source of our sustenance.

In fact, our progression in terms of technological and scientific advancements only serves to highlight the apparent but simultaneous regression of human consciousness, common sense and wisdom.

Surely something has gone wrong here?

We have seemingly created a terrifying monster that is suppose to aid us but instead hinders our mental and spiritual growth, as we become ever more dependant on its dangerously mesmerising charms.

Educational Talks: Michael Tsarion – Age of Manipulation

May 20th, 2011 No comments

When watching the following lecture, please endeavor to do so with an open mind and do not take everything Michael Tsarion has to say as the Gospel truth.  The information and unconventional knowledge being presented by Tsarion should provoke you to pursue your own research towards educating yourselves and discovering your true purpose in life.

The aim of this unconditioning of the mind is to be aware of these external machinations (and they do exist) which wish to manipulate us for their own personal gain (power and money), not to mention our own self-imposed ignorance which only helps them to achieve just that.

Hopefully, as we continue to take the necessary but liberating steps towards self-knowledge, wisdom and peace, we may or may not edge ever closer to this elusive “Truth” that we seek.  However, this truth is to be surprisingly found where most of us dare not to look – within oneself.

So, the goal of Tsarion’s “Age of Manipulation” lecture is to at least help us expand our minds towards discerning a world that we think we know with hopefully a more clearer perspective, or at least an objective reality of what’s really going on within these corrupt man-made societies in which we live.

Although most of the information being presented in the lecture will no doubt be automatically labeled with the usual ignorant responses such as “conspiracy theory” or “new age nonsense”, does not make it completely untrue or something you cannot learn from.

This is what this blog is all about – forget what you think you know.  We are all in need of a huge awakening dose of a knowledge reform, which will hopefully improve the individual and the world for the better.

Wisdom Books: Thrice-Greatest Hermes by G.R.S. Mead

May 16th, 2011 No comments

THESE volumes, complete in themselves as a series of studies in a definite body of tradition, are intended to serve ultimately as a small contribution to the preparation of the way leading towards a solution of the vast problems involved in the scientific study of the Origins of the Christian Faith. They might thus perhaps be described as the preparation of materials to serve for the historic, mythic, and mystic consideration of the Origins of Christianity,-where the term “mythic” is used in its true sense of inner, typical, sacred and “logic,” as opposed to the external processioning of physical events known as “historic,” and where the term “mystic” is used as that which pertains to initiation and the mysteries. Though the material that we have collected, has, as to its externals, been tested, as far as our hands are capable of the work, by the methods of scholarship and criticism, it has nevertheless at the same time been allowed ungrudgingly to show itself the outward expression of a truly vital endeavour of immense interest and value to all who are disposed to make friends with it. For along this ray of the Trismegistic tradition we may allow ourselves to be drawn backwards in time towards the holy of holies of the Wisdom of Ancient Egypt. The sympathetic study of this material may well prove an initiatory process towards an understanding of that Archaic Gnosis. And, therefore, though these volumes are intended to show those competent to judge that all has been set forth in decency according to approved methods of modern research, they are also designed for those who are not qualified to give an opinion on such matters, but who are able to feel and think with the writers of these beautiful tractates.

Who was Hermes Trismegistus?  Read Here…
